Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is 174 m2 build in 1974 and has a 600 m2 nice private garden with flowers, and normally you will find cherries and some strawberries if you come here in July. In the garden we have a terrace with a covered area with dining table and chairs so even on rainy days or chilly evenings it is possible to sit outside. Next to that we have a lounge area with a small sofa and two confortable chairs. We have a small brazier and some firewood, so you can enjoy the flames or grill marshmellows. Or just relax and enjoy the green garden. On the other side we have a morning terrace with to deck chairs.
Entering the house you are first met by the utility/laundry room before going to the kitchen. Our kitchen has a dining area and what ever needed to make a nice meal. Only exception is a coffee machine - you will have to do with Nescafé. Next to the kitchen you find a big living room with a dining area and an sofa/TV area with a fire place and large windows so you can enjoy the garden from inside the house. The two Doors to the garden can be opened to enjoy indoor/outdoor living.
There are four sleeping rooms in our home. In the parent’s bed room there is a 180x200 cm bed, in a boy’s room there is a 80x200 cm bed, that can turn into 160x200 cm, in another boy’s room there is bed room with a single bed (90x200) and in the girl's bedroom you will find a single bed (90x200 cm). Further more there is a large bathroom with bathtub and shower and small room with toilet and zink.
Our home is familiy friendly with a lot of board games and puzzles and plenty of LEGO.
The Garden is closed for toddlers safety. In a corner of the garden, we have a small chicken coop with a few hens, that will supply you with fresh eggs. If you come here with children, I'm sure they will enjoy to collect the eggs or feed the chickens - they eat grains from your hand. We also have 3 friendly cats.
The previous owners’ daughter was using a wheel chair, so the house is build for a wheel chair user.
In our home you will find Netflix and Viaplay access and a good internet connection.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We are living in a surburb to Aarhus called Skødstrup. It’s very safe here and the kids can play on our small street if they want. 5 supermarkeds, a farmacy, a bakery, a bank and some small restaurants within 1.5 km gives easy access to daily needs.
Aarhus is known as the smallest big city. It was no 13 on places to go in 2016 - according to New York Times ( https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/10/12/travel/what-to-do-36-hours-in-aarhus-denmark.html ) And in 2017 Aarhus was European Capital of Culture.
If you like to enjoy the features of Aarhus (museums, shopping, restaurants etc) and still like to go to the beach, to go to for a walk in the country side or take a daytrip to one of the nearby theme park our home is ideally placed. With the highway a few km away there is easy access to whereever you want to go.
We will leave you a lot of brochures from all the nearby attractions.
