Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Welcome to the vibrant neighborhood of Forst/Saint-Gilles in Brussels! We're absolutely smitten with this bustling community and truly believe it's the cream of the crop in all of Brussels.
What makes it so special, you ask? Well, let us count the ways! For starters, we're just a stone's throw away from the city center, making it a cinch to immerse ourselves in all the excitement and culture Brussels has to offer. Plus, with Louise, Ukkel, and Chatelain within walking distance, there's always something new to discover right around the corner.
And let's talk about convenience! With tram and bus stops scattered throughout the neighborhood, getting around couldn't be easier. Need to catch a train? No sweat—Gare du Midi is just a quick 7-minute bus/tram ride away!
But what truly sets our neighborhood apart is its abundance of green spaces and cozy hangouts. Step out of our apartment and into the serene embrace of Parc de Forest or Duden Park, where nature's beauty awaits at every turn. And when hunger strikes, you'll be spoiled for choice with charming cafes like Bar du Matin and an array of mouthwatering Italian, Japanese, Middle-Eastern, and Chinese restaurants just around the corner. ☕
So whether you're in the mood for a leisurely stroll in the park, a delectable meal, or a taste of city life, Forst/Saint-Gilles has it all—and we couldn't be happier to call it home.
